This course comes with a 60-page manual, including all twelve of the scripts I used in my year-long research project with diabetics, two hypnosis CDs, "StressBusters" and "Motivation to Exercise for Diabetics." You can add all 10 CDs to your kit for an additional $90.00. We will have diabetics as volunteers to work with in the classroom setting. You can attend the class when it is offered or get certified in this program through homestudy with personal email and phone guidance from Kathy Moore. Upon completion of the examination, you will earn 8 hours of credit from the International Hypnosis Federation. The course teaches you a 10-week program you can use to give clients the self-hypnosis training they need to manage: their stress, their eating behaviors, their exercise motivation and their emotional reactions. Topics covered in the course include: how to take an intake personal assessment as a starting point; motivating diabetics to manage their weight, their exercise routing and their stressors; dealing with anxiety and pain in diabetics; helping diabetics to stay on track with healthy goal setting; improving the support system. You will have all the information you need to conduct your own studies with diabetes or to work with them on a client basis.
